There's a new pub in town... "If you're as
tired as I am of hearing about the latest and greatest new
clubs for the under 25 crowd or the so-called "chic", overpriced,
restaurants that seem to be popping up all over town, then you're
going to love Farley's Pub..." says owner/host, Frank
Mitchell. Located just a stone's throw from Main Street - Manayunk on Leverington Avenue (just below Ridge), Farley's
brings a breath of fresh air to the area's otherwise pretentiously
trendy eatery and nite-club scene. Farley's Pub is the culmination
of Frank's lifetime search for "…the kind of place that just feels
right no matter what mood you're in." After a quick
tour of the Pub it's not hard to understand what he means. There are
lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in if you choose to and
plenty of common areas for meeting and mingling in the expansive site that includes 3 separate bars,
2 dining rooms and big-screen TVs
throughout. Add in a fun & sensibly priced menu, free parking out back, local
shuttle bus service, nightly drink
specials and activities, and you're talking
about a true pub-legend in the making. It's a restaurant, a sports bar,
and a cozy pub
